Het zilveren mondstuk op mijn altsax van The Martin Magna en het bronzen exemplaar op mijn The Martin baritonsax zijn ontworpen door Ko Zuidweg. Deze mondstukken zijn handgemaakt met grote precisie en grondig door mij getest. Ko paste het mondstuk tijdens dit proces verschillende keren aan, net zolang tot het perfect aansluit bij de manier waarop ik speel. Dit is absoluut het laatste mondstuk dat ik heb aangeschaft. Ik hoef niet verder te zoeken: het zou me alleen maar tijd kosten en hoogstwaarschijnlijk zou ik toch geen betere vinden.’

These mouthpieces have been handcrafted with high precision and were thoroughly tested by me. Ko adjusted the mouthpiece several times in the process until it perfectly aligned with my way of playing. This is definitely my last mouthpiece, I don’t need to look any further. It would only take up my time and I would most probably not find a better one anyway.’
